For Parents….

Small groups offer students with similar circumstances to share experiences, feelings, and coping skills in order to learn to better handle situations.  Some groups that we offer include:  grief, divorce, stress management, perfectionism, anger management, and academic improvement.

Encourage your child to tell the teacher in private or make an appointment with their counselor.  Bullying situations are handled in a manner that will not cause the child more distress.  Depending on the severity of the situation, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.

Every academic teacher across grade levels has counselor passes posted in the classroom for students to fill out and place in the counselors box outside each counseling office.
